Koh Sire river trip

Possibly Phuket’s most unique trip run exclusively for Village guests. Leave the village pier heading south, entering into 5 Km of waterways meandering through mangrove marine habitats. With a high chance of coming up close to sea eagles. Discovering villages perched in the waterways connected by wooden rickety footbridges. Heading into the heart of Thailand’s fishing fleet, boat yards and fish factories. Stopping of at a waterside Thai harbour village for refreshments. Don’t miss the chance to see what most tourists never will. Price 1000 baht per person inc. Guide, soft drinks and water. Max 10 guests.

Hobie Clinic

• Friday 10am – 12:30pm.
• The Hobie clinic is designed for all wishing to learn the ropes of exhilarating cat sailing. There will be 1 hour of skills and boat set up instruction, followed by 1 hour of fun sail under supervised instruction. For those more experienced wishing to have a go alone there will be free rescue assistance and instruction also. After this, anyone showing the necessary skills will be able to use the Hobie cats outside clinic times. Anyone who wishes to receive private lessons outside clinic times a charge of 600 baht per hour will be applied. Maximum 6 guests. First sailing after instruction for the first signed up.

Crystal clear snorkel trip

• Sunday 11am – 1:30pm
• Just 30 minutes away are 2 of the best snorkelling islands in the region boasting hundreds of varieties of fish and excellent coral heads. The trip will start from the Village jetty where we will head to the two islands of Kho Kai. We will stop for 40 minutes at the first island and have a quick snorkel. After this, a short 35 minute stop at the bleach white sand beach with many beach cafes. This will be followed by a 45 minute snorkel at the next island to see the stunning coral on show. Price 1000 baht per person inc. Guide, snorkel equipment, soft drinks and water.

• Phang Nga discovery tour, Phang Nga Bay

• Friday 9am – 3:30pm
• Discover possibly one of the most stunning seascapes in Asia by private Village speedboat. Leaving from The Village pier, the skippered boat will travel north into Phang Nga bay stopping for a swim in one of Phang Nga’s thousand calm coves. Shortly after the boat will stop at James Bond Island were the 1974 ‘Man with the Golden gun’ was filmed with a chance to step ashore and explore. Once everybody’s back onboard, the destination is lunch on a tranquil floating restaurant. After lunch the boat will navigate around Paradise Island to one of the most secluded island beaches for a chance to have another dip. As the day draws to an end the final stop will be what we know as the ‘Reggae bar’. Sit back with a cocktail, listening to great Reggae while watching the boats go by. Finishing the day with a cruise back to the island just in time for happy hour at the Tamarind bar.
