Koh Sire River Trip

Enjoy a fascinating river voyage that is run exclusively for Village guests. Entering the Koh Sire River, located just south of Coconut Island, you will journey into the past to see what the traditional Thai fishing village way of life is like and has been for generations.

Meandering through stands of mangrove trees protecting the shoreline, you’ll discover villages perched on cliff sides, their wooden dwellings connected by rickety footbridges. Along the way you’ll see nature up close, and can spot colourful aquatic wildlife, such as hornbills, kingfishers and sea eagles.

Discover authentic fishing villages and a way of life that is fast disappearing today, one that adults and children alike will find fascinating and educational.

Hobie Clinic

The Village Hobie clinic offers guests an opportunity to learn the about the exhilarating sport of cat sailing. A 2-hour clinic, you’ll learn the skills you need to set up your boat and how to sail it. The clinic includes an hour of sailing under the supervision of our expert trainers. For Hobie cat sailors with experience, we offer free rescue assistance and instruction to help them enjoy their craft.

Once you have passed the clinic, the Hobies will be available for use in non-clinic times. Private lessons are also available outside of clinic hours.

Crystal Clear Snorkel Trip

Located just 30 minutes from The Village, Coconut Island boat dock lies Koh Kai, offering two of the finest islands for snorkelling in the area. Guests will find spectacular coral and fish in magnificently clear waters.

The trip takes you to both islands and also stops at white sand beaches that sport their own beach cafes.

Phang Nga Bay Discovery Tour

• Friday 9am - 3:30pm

Explore one of the world’s most stunning seascapes by private Village speedboat. You will be transported north into Phang Nga bay, stopping to swim in one of the thousands of small, picturesque coves the bay offers. Your discovery tour will continue to James Bond Island for a chance to step ashore and explore the area made famous by the movie "Man With The Golden Gun" (1974), which was filmed there.

You’ll enjoy lunch on an authentic floating restaurant before travelling onward to Paradise Island, where the captain will select a secluded island beach where you can enjoy afternoon sunbathing and swimming. Your final stop is the Reggae bar, where you can sit back and relax to the soothing beat of reggae music as you watch the boats go by. Your perfect day ends with a cruise back to Coconut Island, just in time for happy hour at the Village’s Tamarind bar.
