The Village wins again!

Financial packages to make buying easy - 20% pre paid rent
As a foreigner, mortgages continue to be virtually impossible to obtain in Thailand. To help you, we provide the option of receiving your rent pre paid by reducing the villa price by 20%. As a villa owner you receive all the benefits of owning a villa with 60 days use per year and no maintenance fees, but no rental income for the first 4 years. Chris Craft arrives in Thailand
Boat lovers in Thailand can now see, try and buy Chris Craft boats from Chris Craft Thailand, based at the Boat Lagoon marina in Phuket. For basic, no-extras models, prices range from US$50,000 to US$500,000 plus shipping.

Chris Craft Thailand also plans to make boats available for charter, and to open more outlets in coastal cities around Thailand. Frank Van Hooijdonk, Boat Sales Manager of Chris Craft Thailand, said, “We’re honoured to be the Chris Craft dealer in Thailand. Now finally people here can experience the boat used by presidents and movie stars.” At present we have two boats both of which are moored at The Village Coconut Island. The Village Coconut Island Resort is now fully open
Christmas and New Year was a very busy time for the newest East coast luxury resort. With both owners and guests staying in all of the completed villas and the new spa and lobby area completed a great time was had by all. All enjoyed the relaxing island lifestyle with delicious food and drink menus from the restaurant, relaxing spa treatments and to celebrate the season some great parties finishing with a spectacular firework display on New Year’s Eve. Project progress update
The new lobby and spa and all beach front villas have now been completed. The pathways and gardens around the central facilities have also been laid and returned the whole area into the tropical paradise it was prior to construction. Progress on phase 1-D is going well and within 6 months over 40 villas will be completed. A new landing pier has been completed at Laem Hin making getting on and off the 24 hour private water taxi easy for everyone. To see images of construction progress click here.

What’s coming up in Phuket
Chinese New Year is on 26th January this year. The large ethnic Chinese population celebrates with decorations at the many Chinese shrines throughout the island, food festivals, and of course noisy firecrackers. Over this period, Phang Nga Bay Sailing Regatta is also a highlight of the month. Dubbed "The Fun Regatta", The Phang Nga Bay Sailing Regatta is held in beautiful Phang Nga Bay on the east coast of Phuket and does a circle past Krabi and Phi Phi Don Island. Sailors of all ages and from all walks of life get together to enjoy a competitive regatta with a beautiful course around the islands of Phang Nga Bay, Krabi, Phi Phi and Phuket.

The Village Cricket Team
The New Cricket season in Phuket starts on the 11th January and The Village Cricket team plays its first game on January 18th.
